Early this year, when rumor
spread that Morrissey is coming to Asia for a
concert in May, I was among those who wished
that Manila be included in his tour itinerary.
Fortunately, Little Asia Restaurants was able to book him and now fans from Manila
are getting ready for that big day. A day after it was announced that tickets are up for sale, I immediately bought mine. Its a VIP seat which is very practical than SVIP ticket because you wont be in front even if you pay P8,000. Morrissey has been described as "one of the most influential artists ever," and fans all over agrees that he is a living musical legend because most pop stars have to be dead before they reach the iconic status he has reached in his lifetime. I grew up listening to Morrissey's music, impressed by his unique baritone vocal style which could be sometime hypnotic. Now that May 13 is fast approaching, the excitement in me is also rising. I will never miss this day, its the day when I will finally meet and listen to the music and lyrics of a rock god. I Love Morrissey! |

Reunion Concert On 2/3/12
Filipino alternative rock band
Half Life, Half Death is set to do a reunion concert on
February 3, 2012 at Club Phi, Metrowalk, Pasig City.
Half Life, Half Death also known as "The Halves" existed
from 1988 to 2003. They are remembered for their
commercial released songs like "Alimango", "Nosi Ba Lasi",
and "Kapit Tuko.", but fans' favorites were
"Butterflies", "Brother's Pen", "We Are The
Saints" and "High School Life". Their 1995 debut album "Prymyth
Prahn" was released under Viva Records and is now
considered as a collector's item to their Filipino fans.
Joining "The Halves" on Feb. 3 are other indie bands
like The Camerawalls, The Gentle Isolation and Your
Imaginary Friends.
